This is my favorite nativity picture book. The text is taken from the KJ Bible and the illustrations are a treat. The tattered wings and combat boots on the angels are a fun interpretation. Pregnant Mary is portrayed more realistically in this cartoon style than in more traditional renderings/5. This book is out of print, but worth buying if you can find a copy that's in good shape. I love that this is pop-up and has moving parts to give it a little extra something for small children. The images are beautiful and it tells the nativity story in an easy to follow way.
